Cliff--an older anthro canine in tidy clothes-- leans over Orin's shoulder--an anthro feline in rougher work garb. Cliff's gaze is difficult to discern. Perhaps father-like concern?

Cliff: "Don't take this the wrong way, but...maybe your purpose, your fate, isn't on the surface. Is there anything up there for you anyway?"

Orin looks past Cliff, heart sinking like a stone at the very mention of that.
